Need a little help ....new lexus owner....
I just got a 99 lexus ls400
1st I have several codes for check engine light ....could this be one problem or does someone know what I can do to fix these
-P0171 - system too lean bank 1
-P0130 - o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1
-P0133 -o2 sensor circut slow response bank sensor 1
-P0150 - o2 sensor circuit bank 2 sensor
-P0153 - o2 sensor circuit slow response bank 2 sensor 1
-P0161 - o2 sensor heater circuit bank 2 sensor 2
-P0450-Evaporative Emission System Pressure sensor / switch
and 2nd
before I got it they changed the brake rotors to slottled and the headlights to hid and I believe the tail lights to led......I'm getting an error in the cluster saying adjusting headlights, brake wear, and taillight malfunction brakes are good all lights in tail lights are working and my headlights are good...is there any way to remove these from the cluster?any help would be greatly appreciated. ...tia

Can you give it back?
That's a lot of problems for a car you just got. Better to do some searching. Any history on the car? Might want to know "all the other stuff" that's been done to the car also.
As Billy mentioned, the FAQs are the best place to start for all those problems and use the search function.
Welcome to the club, though it looks like you're initiation is going to be a bit tougher than most.
The brake wear indicator on the dash is due to the sensor wire being worn in two. There are 2 sensors, probably both on the driver's side, one for the front, one for the rears. It has nothing to do with the current state of the brake pads. That is probably you're easiest fix.
The best way to remove the warnings from the cluster is to locate and fix the problem. I do hope you like working on cars and chasing down problems.

car looks great, congrats, before we went to a one LS family, I had a black one too, loved it, but the wife won...
they have a way of doing that, when you are in your 80's.....
we have owned 12 LS's thru the years (bought in pairs for the two of us, until my stroke)...

When I bought my 2000 LS400 it had the head light leveling message on the dash, both my HID turn on like they should. However when I shine it on a brick wall at night I notice that one light shines slightly higher then the other (very very slightly).
I noticed that there is a hairline crack on the mount for the head light that must be throwing it off.
I heard the the headlight leveling is really sensitive and in my case it must be true, the message is still on. I have seen sellers claim that this message will stay on if you change your headlights.
