LS400 Leather Seat Covers
After 20 years, my 97 LS400's driver seat has finally showed its age. Has anyone purchased any decent leather seat covers for your LS400's that's closely matched to your OEM leather? Please provide vendor link(s). Thank you very much.

Find a low mileage wrecked car as donor, swap the seats. I found one without heated seat and my99LS has heated seats, so I pulled the skin and re-upholstered mine. It's harder than just swapping the seat, but do-able.
Also, a few application of Leatherique will make a huge difference on old hard leather.

I've been checking but so far haven't been able to find a decent seat yet.
I've also checked out a few local upholstery shops. A brand new cover to match the OEM color & grain is about $800.

Couple years ago I found the whole driver seat for $150, it was not perfect, but much better shape than mine. Mine had a couple tears - lack of proper care. Even new leather needs care, if you want it to last.

That is, drivers of premium Germans are suffering in the summer? A relative of the BMW 5th series (although tinted in a circle) and in the summer does not feel any discomfort. Or is their skin special? Or whether the seat is ventilated. For comparison, look here for quality, comfort, and in winter and summer 100%
