need help with interior carpet
does anyone know the material used for the ls 400 carpet material. i ordered some cutpile samples but it doesnt quite feel the same. or does anyone know where they sell stock rolls of auto carpet material?
see my problem is that on the bottom of the door panels there is carpet material, does anyone know what im talking about. 1st gen ls400 is what i have. and the carpet material is gone on 3 of the doors. the 2 fronts and the left rear... if someone knows please help with info. and i dont want to have to buy new door panels. if i know the material n where to get them , it should be an easy fix.
thanks

Lexus Champion
Any auto interior trim industry members who can recommend specific brands of automotive interior carpet equal or better than Lexus??
Unless you know what you are getting , then carpeting from trim shops may not be as durable.. .you will also need appropriate adhesive.
Our door panels require special adhesive...
Am having a time trying to find adhesive that will reaffix door panel wood trim pieces...
Anyone have adhesive recommendations?

On the window switch panels I was going to use a clear epoxy to hold the wood, even Lexus didn't know what to use, since it sure didn't last. A person could use that on that carpet as well I don't think that stuff like contact cement will hold it too long. Those door panels are a thin fiberglass shell, so it looks like that to me.
