Needed a starter so car sat up for more than 3 yrs then the computer went out while sitting, got one from boneyard, exact model 1991 LS400. Start and run strong spraying starter fluid but won't run without spray. Jumped out fuel pump from 12+ battery because I didn't have help to turn key for starter while I listen for the pump in the trunk (not sure if fp running without being jumped out), I hear the fp run strong jumped out. The car sat up over 3 yrs and the gas smells old like turpentine so could my injectors be clogged from the old gummy fuel or more testing to see if ecu functioning proper although paper clip in data port e1 te1, the cel constant flashing which means no codes stored. Any help appreciated....Again it runs strong and smooth spraying starter fluid

 

yes get that old gas out of it and your whole system if you can. and start from there..
