Default Seat belt light not turning off?

also my seatbelt light recently started to not turn off even when the seatbelt is buckled
its really annoying anyone know whats wrong with it?

If this has not been fixed yet, I'd check the plug on the bottom of the seat/buckle and see if it's getting current. If it's reading proper current then try taking an air gun and blowing out the crevice of the buckle and replugging it.
If that doesn't work try disconnecting your battery for half an hour and resetting the ecu.
Worse comes to worse replace the buckle with a new OEM one from Lexus or take the bulb out if the indicator. It doesn't help anything.

My seatbelt sensor was also acting up a few weeks ago. It randomly decided to start working again - but I'm going to take my buckle out, split it open, and clean it up anyhow when it gets warmer outside. I'll try to remember to take some pictures

most likely debris is inside the buckle latch mechanism and is hindering the ground switch from triggering. you'll need to clean out the debris, and lubricate a few things.
