Spark plug wire problem

Spark plug wire problem

Changing the spark plug wires the top rubber is slipping off the plastic and the plastic keeps breaking down to the spark plug and i cant get a spark plug socket around the spark plug

I have a 93 lexus ls400 with a v8
Any help thanks
