Leaking Water In Car When Ac Is On
On my the 91 ls400 during the summer on a hot day with the ac is blowing, I get a nice puddle of water on my passenger side floor. What could this be?

Hey,
I had the same problem last year when I got most of my A/C system
rebuilt and converted. Apparently the drain hose for the condensor
or another A/C part was not placed correctly, it should go all the way
to the bottom of the car, instead it was under the carpet on the passanger
side. I took it back, and they fixed it and cleaned the carpet so it does
not begin to smell. I would recomend going to a AC shop and have
them look for that hose.

yeah i know what u mean lsp. the rpm's go up once the compressor is activated. if u have run out of freon the compressor won't turn on because there's no freon and that's why the rpm's don't increase. i believe the car has a saftey switch to prevent the compressor from activating when the freon is low to prevent damage to the compressor.
