Default windshield washer tank

Have a '95 LS 400 which has suddenly developed a leak at the bottom of the (nylon) windshield washer fluid tank.... Must be a seal that has blown, but wonder if it is a hassle to replace/repair, and/or if it is possible to use an external sealant to stop the leak... Nylon is difficult to bond a glue or plug to... What's involved in removing it to inspect and fix it? Appreciate any ideas or experience out there to help me continue to enjoy the best car I've ever owned.... Cheers, Howard

you need to see if it's a fitting/plug that's leaking or if the tank itself is cracked. Fittings can be fixed, the tank should be replaced.

Thanks for that--looks like a job to remove, but will persevere--strangely a working unit is an important feature in a car when the road is less than clean!! I think I'll have to remove the bumper skirt just to get a look at it.... If the bottom plug is removeable, then I'll do that and see if I can put in a gasket/rubberwasher or the like. Can't find a new or used tank so far.... Again, thanks! Howard
