Yes. And as for the wheels, I don't think I'd have noticed that until it came time to switch back to summer tires. I might get another set of wheels for that though.

 

Welcome. That's a heck of a deal as the vehicle looks to be in very good condition for its age and esp since German climate can cause issues, right?

Hope you don't run into any major mechanical issues or have to work on it much. I can't claim to be a fan of working on my LS400 (1994). It's been pretty reliable until recently however.

 

It's more the damn salt on the streets in winter than the climate in general causing issues to our beloved LS's over here.

 

I didn't have a car last winter so this one will be the trial by salt. Luckily there are ample facilities to do preventative maintenance on cars on the American base so I'll be ensuring the wheels are up to snuff and put back in their proper places long before the first Glühwein is sold downtown. Today, though, it's warm and sunny so I'll be on the tennis court.
