Default timing check on '92 LS400

How do U check the timing on the LS400? AND, can one compensate for the car being out of time with out doing the T belt change? I am having missing problems and am doing problem checking now to find the cause.

You can check with a timing light and no you can't compensate if the cars timing is off. You would need to correct the timing or risk ruining your car.
