Congrats on a really sweet car. Do water pump too. A big job to do the TB. Do the pump too. Not so much extra work or cost when you are in there. I did the Trans oil via the cooling tubing. Was Quick and seemed to work well . The 2 quarts every oil change method should be ok with your low miles. The coollant tubing felt in tip top shape after 20 years on my 1995.

So all the stars finally aligned and I was able to do all the maintenance in my OP. Doing the timing belt was a little challenging but I triple checked all my marks and was confident I had the alignment correct. All the tutorials that are out there were helpful but there were none for a 98-00 so I had to improvise and use a mixture of tutorials. Greatly appreciate everyone that has posted up their lessons learned.

What was surprising was the condition of the belt after 16 years. There was no visible wear but it was quite a bit more flimsy than the new one. Good for another 100K miles now.

Yeah I have that bookmarked also but I liked the flicker one better since it's more detailed.

The two combined would have been perfect.

I agree except it contains one major and one minor error. The major error is installing the tensioner before the belt and the minor error is installing the water housing before the cam covers.
Both result in a lot of wasted time until you figure out the correct method.
