Default My new ride is here!

I bought this 97 LS400 online a week ago, 1 owner, no accidents and only 82K miles. All stock except the Kenwood deck with GPS, Bluetooth and Backup cam. I was nervous buying online, but luckily the seller was honest. The paint and panels look amazing and ding free. Besides a rear differential fluid change, all looks great on this almost 19 year old beauty! Here's some dealer pics and one finally at home in my garage.

Thanks all, the car was owned in the Houston area. No signs of any rust or water damage so it looks like a good score!

Here's a shot of the rear as well, as someone in another thread mentioned the silver emblem option, which I have to say was a big factor for me. I had a choice for a lower mileage 97, but it had gold emblems and I preferred silver so I went with this one.

To answer a few questions, I paid $7300 for it plus $200 to ship it from Houston. The CD glove compartment door itself is fine, but the vinyl leather portion has separated from the door and is flaring up as you noticed. I plan to address it soon with an upholstery shop.

Noob question, I'm not much of an audiophile or familiar with stereo setups, but this car came with a Kenwood DNX6190 HD unit, which is nice in that it comes with Bluetooth, USB, NAV, Sat. Radio, Backup Cam and single cd. The car of course also comes with the stock 6 disc CD changer.

My question is, can the 6 cd changer work together with this Kenwood unit? At first glance it doesn't seem to be working and I'm guessing it can't, but let me know if you guys have some tips or advice if it can work or if I should just ask in the audio forum section.

unfortunately the stock CD changer will not be able to work with the kenwood. is that the GPS antenna on the roof there?
