Play iTunes Music from iPhone 6 in LS400 1997
I want to have the ability to play my iTunes Music in my Lexus LS400 1997 without making any visible changes to the car. In other words I want to keep all the original equipment.
I have tried using adapters that connect my iPhone 6 to the cassette player, but the sound quality was terrible. The electronics stores just want to sell me a new audio system, but I want to leave the original equipment, sound system, & interior.
Is there a way to connect my iPhone 6 to my sound system via an adapter or BlueTooth?
thank you

Yeah, bluetooth is the way to go if you don't want any changes. This is the gizmo I use:

Here is the thread about the aux-in installation that Factory Radio Service did on my 2000 LS400 Nak head unit:

I'm surprised you say the quality from the cassette adapter was terrible. I've been using a $10 Philips tape adapter since 2007 with my iPod Classic and the sound is fantastic (and I consider myself an audiophile). I've tried various FM transmitters and they were all below FM quality as far as audio was concerned.

Since it goes into the Cassette Player I hope it still has the sound quality I've become accustomed to w/ this car.
When I used the Cassette Player adapter w/ the wire the sound quality was terrible.
For right now I'm trying to find a local brick & mortar source to allow for an easy return if needed.

This sounds interesting. It sounds like this method will insure the continued sound quality. I'm not in the mood to tackle taking the radio out of the car, so I hope I can go local.
