Folks:

It is time to focus on the stereo and I am thinking replacing the factory one for a DD unit. I want to leave the speakers as-is for now. I looked at FAQ (UCF20) but could not locate the info. What are the minimum components to replace to just get a DD unit in the dash of my 2000 LS?

For example, what dash kit is the best match to OEM interior?

What harnesses are easy plug-and-play from aftermarket DD to OEM harness?

Do you recommend any particular DD unit? Must have USB input in front, Nav and BT for phone.

If you have the Nakamichi deck DO NOT REPLACE IT!
Have an aux added and the blue tooth added.
There's a great place in Cucomunga Calif. that does that (search posts).
If you have the Pioneer then just spend a good deal of money for a good one so when you later change your amp and speakers it will all sound great.

my LS was a 98, so i had to get the SLA-22. but yes, everything is "plug and play" plus you don't loose your subwoofer. they also sell the component by itself.
