LCD Fixed
Just got my TEMP/CLOCK LCD back from Mikado and it looks brand new
I sent it to them overnight Tuesday and he called me Wed at 2pm said it was fixed and sent it back 2 day fedX and it came today at lunch. Took 5 mintues to reinstall!
I did notice that the Clock stays on even if the car is off. Guess that's normal?

You kidding me? You can get a new one for that much! Mikado usually costs $250 for regular people to fix and $199 for dealers! Calling today to find out what's the deal.

I have no idea where that came from. I must have been thinking about something else.
It cost $295 NOT $475.
And a new cost $632 and that doesn't inlcude labor.

I just replaced mine last week and I drove the car with the LCD missing. If you want you can screw everything back in except for the LCD. If not your Radio won't work, emergency flashers, turn signals and outside temp gauge in dash will be 0. They are all plugs so you have no open connectors.
One thing I learned is that the plugs for the LCD are a little tricky. There is a single bar that holds both plugs in. You have to list the bar to get the plugs out. But before you lift the bar you have to press the single orange bar down and lift up on the white bar.
Sounds crazy here but you will see what I mean when you take it all apart.
FYI... the LCD looks great. It appears brand new, black front panel, and crystal display.
I have heard they keep a few in stock and just send out of those out when they rec. one. Maybe the reason it looks better than mine did when I sent it in. OR they just replace the entire front panel along with the LCD.
Hope this helps
