Default Now what's the difference....

Just got through looking at a 91 LS when I noticed that this engine has a few more hoses than my 93.

They are labeled P R E and the 91 LS has all 3 connected and my 93 LS only the P connected and the other 2 (R&E) capped off??

Anybody have any idea what that is all about? I have since looked at many other models and mine seems to be the only 1 I have found that does NOT have all 3 hoses? Did the previous owner try something strange here?

I noticed this too.

The 92 SC's have them capped off also.

This might sound really stupid but I thought it was for a NOS setup. I know it sounds stupid but I just saw it right above the throttle body and I tried to put 2 and 2 together.

man I hope I don't get flamed for this!!
