so i have a 92 with eagle eyes..so the eagle eyes take 9003 instead of 9004. i bought a led conversion kit and the high beams dont work as well as the fog lights. anyone installed one of these kits and got them to work properly?

After repairing a wiring issue this is what i have, headlamps work as they should lows on low and high on high. the problem is the fog lamps do not work but when switching on the fogs the high beam is triggered.

 

if someone could point me to the rewire thread for the fog lights on 90-94 i would really appreciate it, thanks

 

can you show me how you wired your fogs? did you do the fog light mod? the LED lights should work as they should from the factory.

keep in mind a 9003 is a dual filament bulb where your LED conversion kit is not.

 

led kit is plug and play. when i move the position to fogs on,on the stalk,the high beams come on...must be an issue with the relay? ground switching? btw the led kit has a high beam option and it does work.

 

no, im looking for a gen 1 thread..i bumped the gen 2 thread and from what some were saying its not the same? i really dont want the fogs to come on when i turn my parking lights on..i want complete control of them.
