Paint question
Does anyone know what kind of paint the factory used on gen 1's? Under hood looks like either base coat or primer?

You mean like if it's acrylic enamel and what not?

I doubt that it's acrylic enamel. It's probably just dull from years of heat and the fact that it doesn't get taken care of like the rest of the car.

Yes like what is the paint under the hood that has no clear coat, I doubt its a water base, base coat. What did the factory use?
