Default ucf10 aftermarket support?

Hey guys, currently i own a g35 sedan, and am going to part it in order to buy my first LS. I have a guy selling a ucf10 91' local to me, in immaculate shape.

what i'm wondering is if there is a lot of aftermarket support for first gen 400s? In terms of bodykits, suspension components, audio stuff etc... I have done my research i know wald/JP make body kits and serial nine has aftermarket suspension components, just looking for some more options..

am i better off looking for a ucf20? thanks!

Welcome to Club Lexus.

Body kits are in limited availability for the 1X chassis. Even for the 2X but you'll have better odds with the later UCF2X. Adjustable coils are available for either with additional suspension bits for the 95-00. The availability of parts for the UCF-3X LS430 is a consideration as well.

If its in prime condition, it maybe better to find something not so good to do mods on, mods can ruin value real quick.

not really worried about the value of the car, i plan on building the car (vip route) hence why i'm selling my G to grab a LS (true vip platform).

And this one already has some cut in holes in the inner fenders, another messed up LS

http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/4676420152.html an inexpensive start

Really if the one you have is like new sell it for top $ and use the money to fix up one that's already been modded. I'm looking for a like new 1st gen and will not even look at something that is not factory stock.
