Default CD Changer Replacement

Hello, within the 94-97 LS400, there's a CD Changer within the glove compartment.
I wanted to know if it's possible to replace that with a stereo (with builtin bluetooth), or if that connection can only be replaced with another CD changer?

the entire main headunit can be replaced with a modern stereo, ut are you asking if just the cd changer can be replaced?

Not much can be done with the factory head unit in place, other than adding auxiliary inputs for Ipods and such.

You can get bluetooth reception built into the factory head unit also. That's not as fancy as the onscreen integration of modern head units, but it's something anyway.

Oh really? Perhaps I should start every post with "correct me if I am wrong", ha ha

Now that that can of worms is open, Bluetooth reception for what in particular? Streaming music?

Reception for whatever can transmit over bluetooth - cell phones most commonly. I've got both an aux input and bluetooth receiver built into my OEM headunit, installed by the guy running factoryradioservice.com. I learned about it here (which is true of pretty much everything I know about my LS).

Ok, so basically i want to KEEP the cassette deck and the radio. So all of that would be staying. I only want to take out the cd changer thats in the glove compartment. If that's not able to replaced with a modern stereo (at least with an adapter), then it's not a big deal.
