Since before I can even remember I've always been a fan of the LS400's. Something about the "squareness" of the car just really tickles my fancy. For the past year or so I've been hunting for one, a UCF10 White with the grey two tone around the bottom. I had luck in that I found one at a local lot that fit the description exact. Even test drove it too. Of course it ran like a tank and felt like a vault. But the mileage was just too high for my parents to justify dropping money on. (One of the funniest looks of confusion was when I first presented It to my parents since I'm a teenage boy and live in the south I guess I'm supposed to default to driving a pickup truck (never again)). To bring my rambling to a close I just wanna say I've "lurked" here for quite a while and am involved on Hybridz as well with my 1974 Datsun 260z (never again) and am super interested in learning even more about the LS and really all 1990-present Lexus platforms. I just sold my dad's 93 to a 21 your old and he's having the time of his life. Really enjoys it.
We all have our preferences and they're not the same...and... that's OK...
You're parents should count themselves fortunate that you're looking for such a nice car that will protect you in case of an accident.
