Default problems fixed,now upgrades?

thanks in advance i recently bought a high mile ls 294900 to be exact. before i saw the milage i wanted the car i put my ear to the engine and slowy took it to redline not a peep. so I've changed the 1 and 2 shift sol. and the #1 speed sensor (ithinkit was just the gear though smooth no teeth) od clutch sen. and the other one same part# for fun. no cel or od off light anymore i wanted to start upgrading now and off the line this car is …… so wanted to get a torque converter with a higher stall speed, but when i called the shop they said they didn't know if the ecu would cause a problem because it controls or monitors lock up. anyone who has installed a higher than stock torque converter have any issues with the ect ecu they didn't sound sure they heard lexus and said oh! uh doesn't the ecu ….any facts about this out there
