I just bought a 91 and the radio has the CD button. The owners manual says the CD changer is in the trunk but mine seems to be missing. Does anyone have a pic to show where it is suppose to be? If I can find the wire that goes to it, I would like to buy another one. I see them for $100 on ebay.

On my dad's 93 it was in the upper left corner of the trunk attached to the frame by the trunk lid... on the driver side... not sure if it was factory or not though... It was not working so I ripped it out and tossed it.
Previous owner might have taken the wire out also... it ran along the driver side floor area to the trunk.

 

On the '91, it is on the passenger side aft of the wheel well blister. You will also need the 6-disc cartridge.

just look in the trunk...far bottom right sitting inside the trunk liner with a small slot for the cd changer to pop out
nothing should be exposed, visible, or otherwise other than just the cd changer area at the very bottom..if its there for you

 

take a pic of your trunk and post it. we can tell you if its there or not. I'm putting an aftermarket radio in this Friday. If you need one send me an IM and we can discuss it as I cant sell it here, only in the for sale section. If your wire isn't there, ill give you the wire also.
