1990 Ls400 transmission problems

1990 Ls400 transmission problems
My daughter put to much transmission fluid in her car which caused the car to lose speed and cut off.. was ale to get it back home after driving it 15min to her destination.. it wont go in none of the gear and rmps runs high just to get it to move alittle.. took out the excessive fluid but no change... WHAT COULD THAT BE!!! IS Soilnode pack gone? Or needs another tranny?
