Hello, I'm new to this forum and I've just recently purchased a used 1991 LS400 and although the illumination isn't flickering or broken (as most threads I have found help repair), the Speedometer and the Tachometer both do not work. Now this is either because they could be stuck or just not functioning properly, but I am not sure. Generally speaking, I know my way around a car... but I'd rather not break any of the delicate instrument panel trying to feel my way through an uneducated repair. As a bonus, although I am not entirely sure just yet, the Fuel Gauge also seems to be malfunctioning but I'm still trying to keep an eye on it to see if it is or not for sure.

Any help would be awesome, most of the threads I found using the search either weren't for the UCF10 or they were regarding illumination of either the BG or the pins or even both.

 

We can fix every problem with the LS400 clusters. This is a very common issue on high mileage LS cars.
