Need help, mysterious electrical problem.
Well I''ll try to explain the best I can.
The car in question is a 1993 LS400
The first thing I was noticing is that the lock/unlock from the key works quite spontaneously which I first thought was just a bad key but then I started noticing other problems.
Namely that the lights around the ignition hole and gear shifter would flicker on and off while driving.
Though the lights around the ignition stays on if I turn the headlights off.
Then I noticed that the red door lights and the lights next to you feet on bothfront sides would flicker on and off while driving and sometimes stay lit. Which I then thought was a badly shut door. Tried slamming all the doors but the problem persists.
Then I turned off the car and locked it and noticed when I got back out that the ignition and red door lights were still on (approximately 25 minutes later)
I drove for a bit, stopped and shut of the car and got out and then tried pushing the sensor that senses if the door is open which caused the red door light to shut itself off while the feet lights were still on along with the ignition light.
Please help me! I have NO idea what to even check.
Oh and sorry about the bad English, I'm from Sweden in my own defence

I would firstly remove the door push switches and spray them with electrical contact cleaner before refitting them, make sure the wire to them does not fall into the door pillars.
All the light functions you mention are controlled by the Integration Relay which is a small green box attached to the rear of the interior fuse box.
The affected lights have not been replaced with LED types have they?

Everything is Toyota lightbulbs As of now.
Would LEDs make a difference?
I will try that since I'm removing the door panels to change speakers anyway.
Anyone have a part number for that relay?

Watching closely, for some reason i can't get my shifter and glove box lights to work I have put brand new bulbs in them and still nothing. i have a 98 though so things might be different. All other lights work though. I hope you get it figured out it might give me some ideals.
