Changed plugs. Nothing yet not even with spray bottle. Damper screw on rail is pushed up but still no legit pressure test. Its firing but Acting like its not firing any way to hand check timing? Maybe it jumped when i drove it for that little bit. idk grasping straws lol

After further inspection the passenger side
timing is somehow off by about 4 teeth counter clockwise of the marks. Id upload pic but only have a older phone so can't. The repair print up i got said it is interference but ive heard otherwise for vast majority since its Early model. Anyone know for sure?

All LS400s (at least US market, and almost certainly in non-US although the model years are slightly different):
90 - 94 are non-interference
95 - 00 are interference

Not sure why but check engine light isn't illuminating. It was up till yesterday some of the motor is apart in re-timing process. Maybe that's why? But unable to verify codes at this point As my dash is acting up. Background light not on and tach needle is dark too

It was mostly covers off nothing major at the time i checked. But i timed it to what i thought was perfect and it runs but kinda "diesels" which leads me to think Im just barely off now. Idk how i could swear all marks were right but hell its running\getting there.

Re-timed it. Seemed to be a few degrees off at crank. Reassembling to try it again

The timing seemed to have been a bad tensioner. Update: starts and runs smooth at first then motor slowly starts shaking while idling then stalls out like its starving. i get code 47 for bad sub tps. What are symptoms for that code? And any new insight now that I've cleared some of the water?
