Default gearbox changeability

I have a 1996 Lexus Ls400. Can I use a 95 model autobox on it?

Also what about gearbox from Toyota Soarer or SC400 of same year models?

Thanks in advance

95 and 96 LS400 have exactly the same transmission (here in the states at least) - in fact, there isn't a nickel's difference in the entire car! 99.99% of parts of those two years are interchangeable.

other virtually identical twins with essentially 100% interchangeability would be 91 & 92 LS400, as well as 93 & 94 LS400

so there are basically 3 sets of twins!
