Hi. Just picked up this '90 LS400 about 2 weeks ago. Needs some work but I enjoy projects. Doing the lower control arm bushings, center support bearing and the (super-overpriced) Strut rod cushions this weekend.
Picked up some wheels today. Work Euroline FS 18x8.5 +38. One has a bent lip that will need repaired. All four have curb rash and centers need refinished but overall not in bad condition. I prefer 40 series tires but 2 of the tires are practically new so I might just keep them for awhile anyways.
Sorted out all of the bushings that needed replaced. Sounds a million times better when I go over speed bumps. Next, decided to tackle the radiator and this is what I found. Ordered a new radiator and picked up a new hose and 2 gallons of Toyota red coolant.
Yeah it was pretty bad. BUT... I finally got the new radiator on and nice fresh red Toyota coolant in. I also put the rims on to see how they look. I'm planning on some 245-40-18's and of course a WHOLE lot lower.
