Well I've searched through the various threads on here and have gotten a bunch of info. Been trying to sort it all out and make sense of it all. I have a 92 LS400. from what i can gather , that means its a UCF10 correct? UCF10 being89-92 & UCF11 being 93-94.

Have not seen anything stating that UCF 11 headlights will fit a UCF10. Been eyeballing some one piece headlights but not sure they will fit. they are used and on ebay for like $180+$100 shipping

Can i put HIDs into these? My light output sucks some serious *****. Its barely driveable at night. Dont want to stick hids into a non projector housing but damn i need SOME kind of fix lol. any insight on any of this? a legit source for finding some new headlights or a way to make my current multipiece ones not suck would be great. all the threads are several years old. im not finding anything. was thinking buying the clear housings on ebay and maybe sticking hids in that. but again not sure if they would even fit.

eagle eyes with a projector retrofit is the best option for you. Are the one price headlights you are talking about these or from the Japanese LS 400 aka "celsior""? If it's from the celsior, the beam pattern is made for a right hand drive car and may blind oncoming traffic. I hope that helps you out.

I have eagle eyes and they work fine...u will have to adapt to 9003 from the 9004 u have in there now..no problem tho

Oh, no. Not again!
UCF11 vs. UCF10 is NOT related to the model year. The second "1" designates factory air suspension.
To verify this, check the VIN plate in the frame of the driver's door.
In the next to bottom line (I think - anyway, you will be able to identify it easily), you will see the chassis code.
It will be something like "UCF10L". The "L" means left-hand drive.

to clarify, UCF10 covers all models under 89-94. UCF11 simply designates air suspension on said models.

with that said, any headlight made for 89-94 cars will fit your car. there will be differences in light output depending on what region in the world the headlights came from due differences in regulation (DOT for united states, E-code for europe, then left hand drive models vs right hand drive). this is for OEM headlights. when i say output i mean the way the light scatters to light up road signs, etc. the light will still not be to our satisfaction after seeing all these projector headlights on newer cars. this is simply due the age and design.

for aftermarket headlights such as eagle eyes, it's different. they are probably the best option you have for a retrofit. projector retrofit is the best option but you can also just buy these headlights and see the standard halogen output. i'm sure it will be much better than the OEM fluted headlights.

Installing HID into the DOT lenses does not put down a good beam pattern and will blind oncoming as well as the drivers in front of you that are in the same direction. A projector retrofit with a clear lens is the better option.

Thank you guys for the clarification. Those Eagle eye with projectors sure look good. Will look into those. Sorry if this had been asked 1000000000x before. I really did search but most threads had dead links or were last updated years ago.
