Hey all, Im looking to modify my fenders, most likely get a set from the junkyard and mold in some vents. I am having a VERY hard time finding poly or plastic vents. Looking for something similar to the Artisan ones nothing too fancy. I will be doing the fiberglass/bondo work and will have my boy paint to match the new fenders. Anybody know where I can just order the vents and not a whole set of fenders. Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing you want the lower fender cladding next to the door?

I'm not a fan of nonfunctional vents. Ebay is a good place to look for that cheap crap though.

No Im looking actually for the upper fender vent. the bigger ones right before the wheel arch. All they have is those cheap autozone ones that you stick on the car. I am actually going to be cutting the fenders and mold them to it as one piece. As far as functional, vents on any car aren't really functional unless driving a racecar, pretty much like ANYTHING VIP, negative camber, fusas and tsunas, curtains, VIP tables, and retardedly low suspension, clearly NOTHING functional but yet we still have them in our cars. Ive already done all of the above so Im looking to find the non functional vents just for aesthetic reasons, not trying to build a race car here.

you might as well just go all custom and fabricate the vents yourself. use ideas from other cars to make vents or fab existing vents in (such as land rover).

Yea I was thinking about just having them fabricated by metal on a set of junkyard found fenders, but I cant seem to find in this area (san diego) anybody willing to do it, everyone says "you can order a set of fenders and we can 'give it a try' " but I am not satisfied with those answers so I that's the only reason Im looking for just the vents
