Some of the posts that I have read regarding aftermarket UCA replacements have reported that they may have a short life. You might want to make sure that the upper ball joint is really the problem.
I have the same problem with a wiggly front end but have been reluctant to buy aftermarket Chinese replacements.
As I see it here are some choices:

$100 Aftermarket Upper Control Arm replacements.
Urethane/Poly replacement for UCA bushings, re-use ball joints if the old units are OK.
$550 (per side) new OEM assemblies from Toyota

What are your opinions?

Moog UCA. Good value, or false economy?

new OEM from Toyota is only $411 per side with our Sewell Lexus discount

and on a purchase of this size (two of them), you should be able to negotiate even a better deal with your local Lexus dealership, given that their cost on the part is closer to ~$175-$230 each, depending on dealership parts volume.

I was very lucky when I needed one for my 1994, rang the dealer and was quoted £521.00 ($750.00) looked at aftermarket then found an OEM one from Japparts on ebay here in the UK for £120.00 ($175.00) shipped.
Couldn't press the Buy it Now any quicker!
Unfortunately they only had the one otherwise I would have got both.

$411 per side is still Crazy, but at least not as "Crazy Town."
Thanks for that idea of asking for a lower price from a local dealer. I have one in mind.
I guess if I plan to drive the car for another 100k miles, it makes sense to get the best parts (Genuine Toyota) available. Notice how I am starting to justify the idea.
