Default Megan Coilovers on 95' LS

SO I have had Megan coilovers on my 1995 LS400 for the past 3 years and the springs have soften up and creating all kinds of squeaky sounds. Im looking to replace the springs out with another brand does anyone know who's' springs are compatible with megan coilovers? I was thinking SWIFT springs

they're a nearly standardized size.

hyperco, eibach, swift, all make coilovers springs. you'll just need the rates you want, internal diameters, and uncompressed lengths.

That being said, it's usually not the springs making noise.

They are probably due for a rebuild. Three years is a pretty long time for suspension components that clearly say for off road use only on a piece of paper when you open the box.

I would look into rebuilding if you are serious about your setup and know the spring rates you want to go with. If not buy another set. One of the reasons why I avoid buying used coilovers for any car.

I contact MEGAN racing and they do not offer rebuild for my coilovers , I am tempted to buy swift spring rate: 14/10 and try those out. If I then figure out the struts are blown then I already have new/better springs for the new set

yep, it's not the springs that are making noise. most likely the rubber or plastic isolators that go in between the springs are perch have worn out, or worse yet the shocks themselves are blown (usually shown by them leaking).

reminds me of:

I wouldn't go more than 2k up or down on any coilover setup with out revalving the damper.
The link I provided in my first post rebuilds coilovers.
