yea its true there are a ton of LS400's for sale here, lately been seeing more and more of the 98-2000 models which are nice.

if you need parts check kijiji, you can even buy a running parts car for around a $1000

^Thanks but there's nothing near me, a bunch in the Toronto area but these are not common around here. Regardless I'm happy with mine for now, gonna slowly fix the issues and hope it can at least get me through the winter........

Sometimes better to fix up the issues with the car you have instead of looking for a whole new batch of problems.
Its a top quality car, should give you good reliability, and they were usually owned by old people who drove them easily and serviced them at toyota, the ideal combination in a used car! Mine was very reliable.

That's my thinking as well, I paid so little for it that it none of the minor problems really bother me, if I could get the steering to stop blowing out fluid past the cap I'd be happy......I'm slowly working on that. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
