TRAC-OFF light always on. Need quick help!
hey guys
I am looking to purchase a 1992 ls with 220kms, belts and water pump recently done, front control arms recently done. In overall GREAT condition
Only issue i am seeing is the TRAC OFF light on the dash is constantly on. will not turn off. Also not throwing any codes.
Doing a lot of research and I find a lot of people with that light on but also with the CEL light on as well or codes if scanned
Closest thing i can find are some guys have found it could be an o2 sensor starting to go, and the ECU shuts off the traction control due to this, sound odd but guys have replaced the o2 sensor and seemed to have solved the issue
Just wondering if anyone has any personal experience with this problem before i possibly purchase this car this weekend, i don't mind if its always on and not causing issues but its winter here up in canada and would be nice to have some traction control
any words of wisdom would be great

My first gen Lexus had the trac light coming on intermittently (fairly consistently...some times it took awhile to come on...like five or ten minutes after starting to drive it...but once on it stayed on until I turned the car off). After I had all the fluids changed out (coolant, trans and gear oil, brake fluid), new brakes put on, and new motor mounts, I have not seen the trac light since. My guess is the brakes/brake fluid or motor mounts resolved the issue but I really do not know. I did not have any sensors replaced, for what that's worth.
