I like that tis hardwired, Im goign to stuff mien into that usless little change holder on the left side. Have it all tucked away, flip it out when needed, tuck away when not.
How would you wire one of those up? Thinking about getting a pair of them to measure voltage for two batteries.

Thanks, Cowboy!

Thanks! I basically want to flush mount 1 in the dash like this, so I can get a nice voltage readout of my main battery (if both batteries were hooked up to each other, would that voltage reading show the total of both batteries, or just the front battery?)

And have the other in the trunk behind a sneaky panel to measure the trunk battery

Dranom - With the key just turned to ON, you should get around 12.6 V, or a bit higher if the car has just been run, assuming a good battery.
At a fast idle or above, you should see greater than 13.6 V if the charging system is working correctly.

~12.6V with car off, ignition on, headlights off
~13.6V car at idle, headlights on
~14.4V car at 2000 rpm, headlights on

codes? - it just displays the voltage at your cigarette lighter (which is essentially the alternator output voltage, after the regulation circuit)
