No electricity in my lexus ls400 92.
Hi, every one, I have problems with my lexus.
I have LS400, year 1992.
So I didn't move my car for two months, then yesterday I wanted to replace my speedometer, so I started my car for first time in two months, car started just fine, then I was driving for half an hour to charge my battery, then I park the car in my garage and took out the speedometer and left it for tomorrow .
Next day when I came to garage I tried to start my car it didn't start, when I moved key to ACC everything was okey but when I turn the key to turn the starter all lights went off and there was just the ticking sound, I tried that for couple of times and nothing changed.
Then I was thinking that my battery is bad and I took out the battery form another car and put it on lexus, when I turned key to ACC everything was okey but wen tried to start the car the electricity just went off and now I don't have any power at all.
I checked and all the fuses are okey, so could someone give me advise what could be the problem.
Thanks.

You need to thoroughly clean the battery terminals with a battery terminal cleaning tool and you likely need a new battery (not one from a different car, a new one from the store!)
also, the positive battery terminal end is known to go bad in LS400 (get the real Toyota one only, from any Toyota dealership for $15, part number 90982-05037)

your battery is dead. I work at a dealer and see this all the time. everytime you unplug, plug in your speedo/cluster please remove your battery as well, you can blow a dome fuse. change battery, check fuses and youll be good.
