Ha-ha, pretty high expectations there. They are definitely not motivated.

That's the problem with these "buy here pay here" places, they all charge outragous prices. They all think they have gold. It's not even worth half that.

That is the same paint/interior combo that mine was. My interior looks just like that. I bought mine with 110k miles on it for $1800 from a dealer. And my interior is just as clean as that one.

Does anybody know what color you would call the interior? To me sometimes it looks grey, and sometimes it has a brownish tint to it.

It's grey. I think the brownish tint you see is from wear or dirt. My 99 had the same interior. Was not a fan over other colors. Kind of bland.

Not only do they charge outrageous prices, anyone who buys that car will end up paying 3 times the asking price when all is said and done, assuming they actually finish the note which is unlikely. That dealer has probably already sold and repossessed that vehicle a few times. The key thing to keep in mind is those scumbags are not selling cars, they are selling financing. Very expensive financing.

In fact if you went to that lot and offered them a suitcase containing $13,900 in cash, they would not sell that car to you. They would give you some runaround like "the last guy who test drove it lost the key, come back in a week after we can get a new one made" or some similarly transparent BS.

Edit: as I think about it, the price may actually be jacked up that high specifically to deter cash buyers.

lol, that was the asking price for my '99 w/ 88k on the odometer and then my father negotiated them down to $7k (plus dealer fees). This was over the course of two months though so it wasn't really like a one day thing. In my opinion, they should be asking $6k for it.
