Default Getting 16"s!

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a set of used 16" wheels from a 1993 LS400.

$150 with some worn out tires.

how much improved handling should I expect?

Might improve slightly, but a greater width is better.

happy b-day lee

not what I was thinking about, I was thinking about wider rims, maybe about 8.5 in width. Then your handling will be much more improved.

true that. but if 225's were stock in later years then i think its nice to be able to squeeze out some hidden handling power in the LS, hence worthwhile to go up from 205 to 225. i mean, come on, the little ES rides on 205s.

I agree..and I know what you meant.

205 to 225 is VERY little. But of course the wider you go in width (8.5 - 10.5 - the good stuff) the wider your tire is..275, 325, 375.. HEHE

The biggest I'd go is 17", and those would be the LS430 wheels.

Maybe the 16" GS300 sportdesign, those are nice too. But these are a steal.
