Default new struts and springs

i finally started ordering parts for my ls400. i went along and started off with new front and rear kyb gr-2 struts and tanabe df210 springs. i dont know the offset of my 19 inch wheels since they came with the car when i bought it. im running a squared setup 19x8.5 with a 245/40/19 tire. would you guy recommend any type of spacers? or if i have to roll the fenders?

Looking good. Spacers are only needed on the front if the calibers rub. You may have to do a slight roll but it should not be much. Be prepared for a drastic change in the way she rides.

By the looks of the picture you posted. IMO you might need to run a smaller tire. A small roll might do it in the rear, but the fronts might rub with those tires. But at the same time, I'm not really sure how low those springs will sit. You might have to just install them and plan on rolling if they rub afterwards....

There is no point in a rear spacer if they are flush already. Most use rear spacers because they need them in the front.

I agree with Lavrishevo..............The ride is going to be totally different. I have a feeling that you are not going to be pleased.

actually has the 4x4 look to it. i wanna go just a little lower. idk just getting megan lps would be a better then. but then i would have to worry about fixing the settings if i hit a pot hole or something. heres a couple more angles of how shes sitting now...

I'm interested to see how they turn out since I have some 19in rays 8.5 all around that I'm waiting to put on and I want everything flush too. I have already installed new rotors and pads with the GR2s with Lsportline springs.

If you can be satisfied at a fixed ride height the KYB and springs is fine. For the slight $ difference for the Megan's, it is the better choice IMO. Just to note, that due to the weight differences at the corners, the car will vary side to side in ride height. For some that can be pretty irritating and is not an issue with adjustable coils installed.

im sure ill be satisfied with a fixed ride height, but then what comes to mind is what if i dont like the height after it settles. plus i kinda do want a more sporty feeling. so i think im going to just cancel my strut and spring order and order the megans. now i just have to find a local shop thatll do installation, setup, and fender roll.

I don't have anything against a fixed ride height. BUT when you have an option to adjust where you like it, for not much more.....

I went from a stock set-up to coilovers, and I'm so glad that I did. You can pretty much set the height anywhere you want and have it ride smooth or firm depending on how you like. I heard/read that most people that go springs normaly end up buying coils in the end anyway.
