Default cold air intake hmmmm

hi i have a 1990 lexus ls 400 and i want a cold air intake shown like this. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...om-intake.html
im wondering what should i do to make this awesome intake. i was thinking of buying an some tubing but i cant find one with the breather hose. so im not sure what to do. and does aem or k&n or spectre have better performance base on their "high quality material"? just curious. i want to make a intake that isnt cheap material. i felt aem and regular autozone/ebay aluminum before. what should i do. should i buy this http://www.ebay.com/itm/AEM-Power-21-8105DC-Air-Intake-Silver-Powdercoated-Tube-Red-Filter-Kit-/111026831726?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19d9b7016e&vxp=mtr then weld a breather hose and connect it? or should i just put this on and instead of the hose i insteall a breather filter (the little cone looking intake)

That one looks like a put together kit using Spectre pipings from Pepboys, idk how he added the ISC hose to it but it does looks pretty decent. I'm sure AEM and K&N have better performance than Spectre. Also, you can't just out a breather hose onto it, it's a hose that connects to the ISC.

The stock system is cold air. You should change your title to "hot air intake system"

^this.

the only increase you'll see over stock is Noise. more likely than not that's going to give you a power LOSS.
