How did those H&R's ride? I have the Tanabe's.
I liked them. Rode a little bit stiffer than stock, but ride was still very comfortable. Car handled ALOT better and did not have that floaty feeling. NEVER bottomed out with these springs at all. paired these shocks with KYB GR-2's. Also had just about all of my suspension updated.

Tire size?
235/40/18 in the front,,,,245/40/18 in the rear.
All corners were identical at one time,,had rear end problems and wore the tires out. Fixed that and just put anything back there that fitted. Didnt want to go crazy wide, have to roll fenders, etc. just wanted a nice conservative look that handled fairly decent. I got what I was aiming for.

From the reviews I have read the Tanabe's are slightly softer the then H&R. I also put new KYB's on with them. Going to a 45 sidewall does make a noticeable difference with comfort. I run 245/45/18 all the way around and I really like them.

IIRC, the grille was a combination of the grille (surround?) that came with the Erebuni body kit, mesh and an emblem from one of the newer hybrid Lexus vehicles (RX450h, if I remember correctly).

In my opinion, 18s (and you can also pull off some sporty wheels with the right amount of drop) look great on a UCF1x due to its slightly smaller wheelbase. In the case of a UCF2x, I'd say you're better off with 19s. They look a bit more proportionate with the longer wheelbase. The only real downside (that I'm aware of) of 19s is the tires are a bit more expensive than say, 18s or 20s.

Pretty good, the grill kit IS from the Erebuni body kit(mesh came already installed), emblem came from the ES hybrid. I bought it on EBAY. As much as some hate this place,,, with carefuly thought out execution, you can make this stuff work. Pretty much was a direct bolton where the factory grill was however did have to drill a few holes in the surround itself to mount at the factory location (minior detail). The eyelids are from Junction Produce (yes they are real, I had them imported in with my JDM 1 piece headlights back in '06). Genuine ones' are a pretty rare item now, and not everyone took a liking to them. I even hated them until I painted my car monotone, and changed the grill; came together soooo much beter then. You can pretty much replicate them with cut vinyl and some imagination. Also check the classified here on the forums. Every once in awhile you get someone put a set up for sale.
