Question Automatic Headlights on 1992?

Does anyone know if there's a way to make the headlights on a 1992 LS400 come on and go off automatically? It's a hassle to turn them on and off, and I am afraid I will eventually forget to, ending up with a dead battery. Thanks for any help.

when you take your key out of the ignition and you open a door, the headlights should turn off automatically.

1993 added the light sensing automatic headlights.

Adding the sensor is probably somehing more difficult then just selling your 1992 and getting a 1993.

1993 had a TON (stress on TON) of added features.

I had never noticed if my lights turned off when the ignition was turned off. I always flip them off after putting the car in park, but before turning off the enging. Oh well. You learn something new every day.
