Few days ago ,car driving fine .then cut-off and restarted.then noise from front of motor like bearing or fan clutch .Now it run but noise from front of motor and idel low.

 

remove serpentine belt - restart car and recheck for noise - if noise is gone, then the failure is one of the belt driven items, i.e. A/C clutch, PS pump, fan clutch, idler pulley (2), or alternator



don't drive it any distance without belt, it's just a test

you may be able the turn the belt driven items by hand and discern which bearing has failed

 

 

Thanks friends,will try to locate noise.

 

Friends noise seem to be coming from fan pulley,water pump is 2 years old.Never replace fan or clutch.How do i fix this.

 

the bearing bracket for the fan is important..i replaced mine with an oem one from the dealer
