Anyone ever put projector headlights in a UFC10?
I have a 1991 and would pay a bit to get projectors in my headlights. The stock 1991 headlights suck something badly.

It'd have to be all custom work. I don't believe there's any headlight assemblies that already have projectors in for the 1st gens. You could go check out the "Eagle Eye" headlights, they use H4 bulbs, have clear lenses, and already offer much much better output than the stock does.
If projectors are a must, you could still use the Eagle Eyes as the base, or somehow get/make clear lenses for the stocks, and chop in some projectors from another vehicle. There's also the cheap projector kits that fit into halogen bases on eBay.
The eBay projectors in Eagle Eyes are what I'm currently running. It's miles ahead of the stock and just the Eagle Eyes, but of course, they simply do not compare to OEM-quality projectors. They're nowhere close to the same width/spread of OEM, but for the price and ease of getting them on, it's still a nice upgrade. The one I have fits into the H4 socket, uses D2S bulbs, and has the solenoid/shield for high-low beam usage.
There's a few other projector topics around, so search them for more info. Also, I haven't checked in awhile, but there could possibly be newer models of the easy-in projectors that offer wider beams. You'll have to research that yourself.

Funny
Funny, I came across this thread searching for UFC10 Lexus. Pretty sure I have first place on this one. I retrofitted a set of LS430 projectors into my first gen LS back in 2007. I still have pics. Sadly I don't have the car anymore. RIP

HIDs behind stock lights is much better than stock. HIDs behind Eagle Eyes is much better than that.

I have looked into this ALOT for my ucf20 and have come up with a basic cost list.
Clear Headlights: $150-200
Projectors: $35-100 a set
depends on quality and high low function.
also depends if you want projectors for your lows only or high, low, and fogs.
Hids:$40-150 a pair
depends on quality and the size of the ballast.
do alot of reseaech before you by and youll be happy.
Low beams:
5000-6000k = perfect
8000k+ = stupid and useless
High beams:
hids = pointless.
leave halogen
Fogs:
3000k-4300k = best light in bad weather
but I like to flash my fogs to tell people to go at an intersection, warn of cop, or to warn of upcoming hazards.
Do what you want. But do the research beforehand.
