Default To Slam or not to Slam that is the question!

I have a 1996 Green Ucf20 with 227k still running like it has 60k no rust or blemishes & clean interior...Should I Throw some Megan Coilovers on it & cop some wheels??? All feed back is welcome!

All depends on how long you want to keep the 96. Is it your daily driver? That's a lot of miles. personally, I would sell what you got and invest in a 98-2000 model with lower mileage. Good deals on those now due to the age. Then do you suspension and wheels. Just the vvti alone makes it worth it. If it is a project car for weekends then keep it. imo. Either way.

Slam it but keep your stock suspension....
If you happen along on a nice deal on a 98-00, buy that swap your stuff over and swap your stock stuff back in.

If this car sees duty as a your winter ride in snow, I'd say no. Well, at least as far as driving it with 19's-20's with the reduced ground clearance. Granted you can raise it up and drive it with winter 16's if necessary. How "slammed' is slammed? Somewhat tucking tire or tucking rim?

Just slam it! If you can't handle it then adjust it

slam it! but also remember it's not just coilovers and wheels and you're done when it comes to slamming the car. take into account fender work, exhaust tuck, possible fender relocation, etc.

stuff piles up quick, but it sure looks damn nice slammed.

one of my L'sportline mufflers broke a weld at the H pipe over the weekend.

I guess it comes down to... is it a DD or daily driven toy. I'm slammed and drive slow and break necks all day. Daily driven. When it snows I'll probably be plowing the streets. But i have an Acura TL as a back up car. Thinking about getting a subaru for winter. If I was in a non snow region I would have one car and a motorcycle to go along with my vintage mopeds.

mine is now my daily and isnt even slammed, but im waiting for my stock exhaust pipes to break off any day now. i battle with 2 speed bumps everyday at work. the s2000 now sits in the garage and collects dust but i just love how comfortable the LS is.

the lowest point on my car is the flange where the exhaust manifolds connects to the H pipe. I'm afraid Id snap the studs off the head when it bottoms out on anything a inch above the ground.
