Picture request: '98-'00 LS400 with chrome LS430 wheels
Hi guys,
I'm a proud new owner of a pearl white '00 LS400. I've been a Toyota guy all my life and all of the 6 vehicles I have prior to this Lexus have been Toyotas. I've wanted to buy a Lexus for some time now but had been keeping my eye open for a 5spd IS300 (almost impossible to find). I found a great deal on the LS and just couldn't pass it up. I couldn't be happier with my decision.
Anyways, since the LS is in alright shape, but far from perfect, I've decided to drive it all year round. I've put brand new winter tires on the factory 16" rims and started to look for summer wheels. I found a set of chrome LS430 not too far from me. I'm sure some of you must have a '98-'00 LS400 with LS430 wheels. If you do, please post pictures which will help me decide whether I should buy them or look for something else. Pictures of white LS400's are preferred. I want to keep the car and the suspension stock, so large aftermarket wheels are out of the question.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Club Lexus and congrats on the '00 LS400.
This thread has a few other Lexus wheels in it to give you an idea.

The later model GS wheels are also nice in this car.

Thanks for the replies so far guys! I think I'll pull the trigger on the LS430 wheels. Feel free continue to post pictures on links though.
billydpowe: That's one minty LS! I can't believe it has 140k miles on it. Mine has approx. 128k miles, but the leather doesn't look as nice. Planning on doing a leatherique treatment after winter.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do Billy. From researching around the best combination seems to be the Tanabe springs with either the KYB or Bilstien struts. KYB is a bit softer. 1.8"f 1.5"r. Which is not as low as the cars above. You can't go that low and expect it to ride nice. The other choice was H&R but from what I read they are stiffer and sportier. I'm still waiting for a few more parts to be delivered before I do the springs, struts, mounts, spacers, brakes, and these SC430 wheels. I can't find a picture of a ls400 with these wheels, which is surprising. I'll let you know how she rides. She needs the struts bad but I really like the softer overall ride.
