Default Turning right stops the air.

At speeds above 5mph, a right turn will stop the AC blower until I'm back on a straight course. Not left, only right.

Any suggestions on a repair?

Might be part of the ac harness is grounding. Check that no wires are rubbin on steering parts.

Try jacking up the front end, secure with jack stands, start the engine and turn your a/c on, have someone turn the wheel lock - to - lock while you're underneath checking to see if there's anything that may cause it.

May be the harness thing. Driving on a street sloping to center also caused the fan failure. And the next morning the battery was dead, take-back-to-the-store-and-exchange-it dead.

Now I'm not sure if I should crack it open to explore, or drop it off at the shop.

Solution: Water found its way into the trunk and was shorting out some phone wires. Drained and dried, and wires move from the bottom to the top. Now I'm thinking of installing a phone in the trunk, just in case I'm ever trapped in there and get lonely.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
