Instrument cluster
So my instrument cluster turned off while I was driving and then smoke starter coming out so I pulled over and disconnected the cluster. I figure I have to buy a new one but was wondering why it started smoking?

It smoked b/c the fluid leaks from the capacitors, gets all over the board, and crosses the circuits. You're lucky it just smoked and not flamed.
