Default Midwest Mechanics

Hello all, I have been reading thru these forums for a while now. are there any LS owners in my area that work on their own cars? I see some extremely talented people who replace their own starters and timing belts. but you all seem to live in California or Florida. are there any cold weather mechanics out there? I drive my LS400 all summer and like to do my repairs in winter while it is in storage.

I've turned wrenches for many years. I have experienced all makes and models really. A real mechanic can read wiring schematics and manuals and figure out how to tear down and rebuild anything. I don't really work on cars much any more since I have a desk job that I hate and takes up most of my life. I'm cutting my hours starting the 1st of May so I have time to work on my tshirt company. My boss does not want to lose me so he offered me part time. Best production manager he has had. LOL.
